Permafrost TD

Fiery creatures from hell are on the march, threatening to overrun your base with their relentless heat. Your mission? Use strategically placed water and ice towers to quench the flames and freeze their advance.

Permafrost tower-defence is a bit different than your typical tower-defence game as you have full customizability over what items your towers have and how they behave. This leads to some pretty interesting item combinations and gameplay effects.

Permafrost TD is really early in development but all the core game mechanics are here apart from the shop system, many things will change and need improving.

Current Features!

• 6 Towers with different items. Currently the water orb spawner doesn't work.
• 2 Playable maps. Enemies on the map Ice Bridge will get slowed on the ice.
• Full wave system. 
• Every wave after wave 3 you will recieve a random item that you can equip on any tower you like.
• Can swap any items you want on any towers you want. You can make some interesting item combinations.
• 3 different projectiles that can be swapped with any towers to your liking.

Upcoming Features!

• Many more towers to come.
• Many more maps to come, each with there own gameplay effects and changes.
• Many more enemy types to be added.
• There are currently only 25 waves on each map but many more will be added.
• The wave system will be changing to a less random system.
• A full shop system where you can buy the exact items you are looking for. This will remove the items you get after wave 3 as this is just a place holder system.
• Graphical overhaul. Many things right now are subject to change.
• Ui Overhaul. Right now the Ui feels abit crowded and work definitely needs to be done.
• Many new items with unique abilities and stats.
• Many more projectiles.
• Balancing of enemies and towers.
• Balancing of item stats and abilities.
• Bug fixes.

Current Problems!

• Music is currently turned off as i am having problems with the volume. Right now it is too loud and broken to be in the game. I plan on fixing this very soon.
  
• The volume sliders are abit buggy and need fixing.
• The water orb spawner currently is broken.
• The sell button on towers work but don't scale in sell price. This will be fixed and changed in the next update.
• The waves are not balanced in the slightest.

If you want to test out towers and items use the following keys.

ALT - Will give you 500 ice shards when pressed.

DEL/DELETE - Will add a random item to your inventory when pressed.
